FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is The King’s Ball and why is it important?

The King’s Ball will be a fun, adult evening of socializing with friends which will include a variety of food stations and a top-shelf open bar. With table gaming, a live auction for fantastic prizes, a prize baskets’ auction, and a 50/50 raffle, this event will be one that you sure don’t want to miss!

Since its inception, the spring fundraiser has raised more than $400,000 for CKRS. The tuition we pay for a CKRS education only covers a portion of the cost to educate our children. The proceeds from The King’s Ball will directly benefit our children by bridging the gap between tuition and what it actually costs for a CKRS education.

The King’s Ball is an important venue to promote CKRS. It gives the CKRS parents an opportunity to reach outside the school community and ask for support from local businesses, friends, and extended family members.

The success of The King’s Ball ensures the status of CKRS as a premier catholic school giving our children the best catholic education possible.

What is it all about?

The King’s Ball "A Knight in Paris", will be held on Friday, March 20, 2020 at Woodcrest Country Club in Cherry Hill New Jersey. Tickets are $100.00/person or $200.00/couple. Payment for tickets can be by cash, check made payable to 'CKR-The King’s Ball', by credit card or by clicking the 'TICKETS' link above.

The upscale venue helps to secure sponsors that are of the same caliber as the venue while providing a fun night out for adults who support CKRS.

What are this year’s funds being used toward?

Proceeds from The King’s Ball will be allocated back to the school to fund projects and expenses that cannot otherwise be met by the school’s operating budget.

How can I help?

Purchasing tickets and attending The King’s Ball is just one way to support this event! A significant portion of proceeds are raised through the generous support of our corporate sponsors and ad book sales. If each family collected just one $175.00 ad from a local business or relative, we would be well on our way to surpassing our goal of $60,000!

This year we have once again added a section in the ad book dedicated to Grandparents. Grandparents often play a special role in supporting the Catholic education of their grandchildren. This year, grandparents have an opportunity to send their affections to their grandchildren at a reduced page rate!

The key to having a successful fundraiser is having the school community think “creatively” about whom they know and how a person or business might be able to help Christ the King Regional School.

I still need help!
